  1. What foods and drinks would you like to provide for your family?

We enjoy toast with honey, accompanied by coffee our style: about 3/4 tsp Nescafe Classic in a little water, diluted with about a cup and a helf of nonfat milk, heated in the microwave.

If you are thinking eggs, meat, and so on, there are a number of recipe books in libraries that you can check out.

  3. I am a Pampered Chef consultant. We have a great recipe search on our main website with lots of different categories: one with breakfast dishes and one with shorter preparation times. I’ve listed one of the recipes that I found below.

    Enjoy!

    Mexican-Style Scrambled Eggs

    Ingredients:
    6 (6-7 inch) flour tortillas
4 ounces bulk spicy pork sausage
    8 eggs
    1/2 teaspoon salt
Optional toppings: salsa, shredded Mexican cheese blend, diced avocados, sliced green onions and sour cream

    Directions:
    1. Heat Large (10-in.) Skillet over medium heat until hot. Place one flour tortilla in heated Skillet. Warm tortilla 10 seconds; turn tortilla over with Nylon Turner and warm an additional 10 seconds. Remove from Skillet; set aside. Repeat with remaining tortillas, stacking tortillas one on top of another. Keep warm.

    2. Heat Skillet over medium heat until hot. Cook sausage 6-8 minutes or until sausage is no longer pink, breaking sausage into crumbles using Nylon Spoon. Drain if necessary.

    3. Meanwhile, in Small Batter Bowl, whisk together eggs and salt using Stainless Steel Whisk. Add eggs to sausage in Skillet. Cook and stir just until eggs are set. For each tortilla, spoon about 1/2 cup egg mixture down center of tortilla. Top with desired toppings. Fold sides of tortilla over eggs.

    Yield: 6 servings

  4. This isn’t a link, but it’s an idea that’s worked for me:I like to make my three year old son pumpkin pancakes. I just use a ready made pancake mix, add a dash of vanilla,a tsp.of soymilk, a tsp. of cinnamon, and of course pumpkin puree ( like that used for pumpkin pie). I make it the night before and just store it in the fridge. In the morning it takes about 5-6 minutes to prepare. I usually add a little powdered sugar and butter on top, but he’ll eat about 2 huge pancakes with or without.

  5. How about good ol’ cereal with milk? Quick and easy.

  6. On Sunday, make a big batch of scrambled eggs with sausage (or bacon, etc). Then store them in small zip-locks and freeze. You can then heat up one at a time. Take a flour tortilla, add one serving of the hot egg mixture, top with shredded cheese and salsa if you like. Fold one end up and then roll up , so you have a ‘wrap’. You can eat it at home or on the go!

There are sooooooo many websites, just take some time and look. Taste of Home.com is good, so is Everyday Living.com
