I ordered a box of these cookies to be sent to my mother who is 84 years old – they were her Christmas present along with a box of the Chocolate Chunk Breakfast Cookies. She doesn’t eat breakfast so I thought these might encourage her to eat something in the morning with her meds. She said they are really quite tasty. She lives out of town, and since I have to eat gluten free, of course I haven’t personally tasted them. But if my mother says they’re good, I feel confident in giving them a favorable review.

This was my first Erin Baker purchase and I was quite pleased with these cookies. They have a great moist oatmeal flavor. They didn’t crumble or taste dry at all. It kind of feels like a cheat – like you’re eating one of Grandma’s oatmeal cookies before a “real” meal. My only issue is I wish there were more walnuts. I’ve had three cookies so far and one had one walnut, the other two had two. It’s a nice unexpected crunch when you get one though. I’m going to try another flavor!

This not my favorite flavor but still very good. My 15 month old son loves them and they are very nutritious too. I prefer oatmeal raisin and apple pie, but this is good too. Just don’t like the peanut butter (too nuts and twigs tasting).

Strange, but I don’t like eating bananas, and I have never liked eating mushy oatmeal for breakfast, but I really like this banana walnut oatmeal breakfast cookie. It’s just like eating a very substantial banana walnut muffin. It fills me up, and sticks with me until lunch time thanks to the whole grain oats, and it tastes really good, too.

We’ve been told that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but I’m often in a rush, and/or I’ve forgotten to restock the frig, so I would end up skipping breakfast. Not good. I’m very happy to have such a convenient, and tasty way of fueling up, and it’s economical, too. I signed up for the subscription price which makes this breakfast less than a $1/day.

I tried the chocolate chunk flavor, too, but it was a little too sweet for me. I honestly don’t know if I’ll try any other flavors, since I hit the jackpot with the banana walnut flavor.

So far, I have tried caramel apple, fruit & nut, morning glory, and banana walnut flavers. I have also ordered, (but not yet received) the pumpkin spice cookies. All of them are an excellent meal replacement or nutritious snack. The ingredients are wholesome, there is no high fructose corn syrup, and they have a good supply of protein & fiber to stave off hunger for several hours. The caramel apple is probably my favorite because it seems to be the moistest, but I really love all of the flavors. Like other reviewers, I freeze them, and then microwave a cookie for 20 seconds when I am ready to eat it. I find the cookies taste best warmed up. Even though the calorie count is higher than many cookies, I think you get a lot of nutritional “value” with these.
